Tuere Tidwell

Has worked for Kock Trucking for the last 5 years, and recently changed her role to Admin Processor. She graduated from Minneapolis Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice, with plans to complete her bachelors. Her passion is helping people in every way that she is able. Advocating for the rights of our Muslim sisters is a major goal for her. She has volunteered with Masjid An-Nur, Masjid Nimat ul Islaam, Pearls of Hope; cooking, serving at the food shelf, and assisting with teaching.

Tuere was introduced to Sisters Need A Place through Sakinah Mujahid. She has participated in several SNAP workshops, forms, and retreats. In awe of the beauty and resilience of all the women she was introduced to, helped her make an easy decision to join the SNAP board. She hopes that her skills will be of benefit. For her this has become a chance to really make a difference for our Muslim women and children within the community.
