SNAP Services

Our organization maintains its focus around several service programs. The following is a description of our services:

Clearing House Resources
Resources Referrals- We can direct you to other organizations who may be able to meet your needs in housing, employment, furniture, clothing, etc.
 
Meeting of the Minds (MOMs) Socialization


We offer a place to gather to discuss, share, leran, resolve dilemmas and be inspired in women's daily lives; we do this through retreats, workshops.

 

Educate the Muslim community about domestic abuse, women rights in Islam and how to establish and maintain a peaceful family unit.

 

Educate the Non-Muslim community about Muslim families and women and thier rights.  Additionally, SNAP provides information about the religion of Islam and cultural diversity.
 

SNAP Housing of Many Sisters(HOMS) Transitional Housing
Provide a clean, safe and furnished transitional residence to women and their children to new beginnings. Click here for the eligibility requirements for the SNAP HOMs.

SNAP is a non-profit organization that supports the community by providing social services to women in need.  We only survive on the kind and generous donations provided by people who care, like yourself.
